Global Halifax: Remembering the Spring Garden Library
One of the ways Halifax Public Libraries is honouring its oldest library is to set up an online exhibit of its history and the building’s designation as a war memorial. What was it like when the doors opened in 1951? What is “a living memorial”?, and how is the memorial aspect of the Spring Garden Library going to be honoured in the new Library?
